A DC transplant from Scranton, Pennsylvania, I embody an innate inquisitiveness of the world as well as an unbounded thirst for knowledge. Though I’m particularly passionate about national security and foreign affairs, I extensively covered the 2016 presidential election for CBS News as a recent graduate. My multimedia abilities have recently taken me to Circa News, an evolving digital media company, as a PM news reporter, where I cover breaking news as well as other general assignment stories.
I’m also a self-proclaimed global nomad. Upon my graduation from American University, I was one of two students selected for a Pulitzer Center fellowship, granting me the funds to produce a comprehensive multimedia project exploring the marginalization of the transgender community in Thailand. I’ve also traveled to Haiti to study women’s mico-financing institutions, to Peru as a Global Volunteer, and to Modena, Italy, as a foreign exchange student.
As a triathlete and Half Ironwoman in training, I embody a particular sense of grit and mental toughness, which allows me to pursue every opportunity with optimism and audacity.
